Samsung Targets AI Integration Across 90% of Operations by 2030

Samsung Electronics plans to integrate artificial intelligence into 90% of its workflows by 2030, focusing on augmenting human productivity rather than replacing its workforce. Roh Tae-moon, acting head of Samsung’s Device Experience division, outlined the strategy at IFA 2025 in Berlin, emphasizing a human-first approach to automation.

The initiative extends to consumer devices, with over 400 million Galaxy devices expected to feature AI-powered functions by the end of 2025. Samsung’s DX division, which spans televisions, home appliances, and other electronics, will drive this expansion. The MOVE aligns with the projected $125 billion AI-powered consumer electronics market by 2024, though consumer trust remains a divisive issue.
